Package: £27,000 - £37,000 basic, plus £10,000 commission

The Role: This field sales business development role will see you selling a range of foodservice solutions; chilled goods, fruit and veg, meat, fresh fish, bakery and canned foods across East Anglia and Essex territory. Contacting head chefs, executive chefs, buyers and owners, the successful applicant will be required to prospect new business and retain all accounts won. Sourced by self-generated, a database of leads and cold calling, you will make 6-8 face to face calls per day. Order sizes average between £500 - £800, you will be targeted on achieving £5K per week.
The Company: Our client offers next day foodservice solutions 6 days per week across England and Wales! Priding themselves on customer service and delivering to over 2,000 customers daily, they operate at independent and small group trade level, offering new, innovative and quality alternatives not used before. They are now looking for a new business focused salesperson who has route to market knowledge, ideally sold foodservice before.
For this role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Must have route to market knowledge
- Ideally sold food/drink
- New business focused and able to build strong relationships
- Hunter, personable and team player.
- Driving License
