Our client is looking for an enthusiastic sales person to step into this role and drive business forward across the North East of England region - Tyne & Wear, Durham and Teeside. You'd be representing a market leading manufacturer within the engineering sector, here you will have the opportunity to progress and build a long-lasting career.
THE ROLE: Your role as Area Sales Manager will be focussed on selling a wide range of specialist pneumatic components for factory automation; including valves, cylinders, sensors, switches and actuators. 90% times spent will be with OEM's / machine builders in this region, with the remaining 10% with specialist distributors and end-users within the automotive, aerospace and engineering sectors.
THE PERSON: Our client is looking for a structured, commercially focussed sales person to take on this territory. You will need previous sales experience within the engineering sector - ideally with a recognised engineering qualification also.

THE PACKAGE FOR AREA SALES MANAGER:
- Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 pa
- Bonus: 25% of basic salary pa
- Company Car: Yes
- Benefits: Laptop, Mobile, Pension, 25 days' holiday (+ Bank Holidays)
