National Account Executive – Homebased – Competitive Basic Salary Plus Excellent Package

Our client is a market leading, branded manufacturer of non-food products used every day by consumers all over the world. Products are innovative, sustainable and focussed around encouraging a healthy lifestyle. The business are environmentally friendly and look to find solutions that help both retailers and consumers. It’s a globally recognised, category leading brand with a fantastic reputation in FMCG. They have a large UK customer base across grocery, online, high street and a B2B division.

Culturally it’s a people orientated environment with strong company values that looks to progress people through the business. Due to an internal promotion an opportunity has arisen for a National Account Executive to join the commercial team.

As National Account Executive you will report into the Senior National Account Manager working on major UK retailers. These are likely to include grocery and premium high street customers.

Main responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Achievement of agreed sales budgets across all accounts including volume and gross margin
  • Internal reporting and communicating on customer
  • Planning, executing and managing all promotional and advertising spend
  • Proposing new product lines in line with company objectives
  • Passing all relevant information internally to other departments
  • Provide in store staff retailer training and attend trade shows
  • Regular sales analysis to driven new sales opportunities

This is broad commercial role and you will play an integral part in delivering and growing your defined customer base.

We are seeking candidates with a branded FMCG background looking to join a fantastic global business and develop your career. Ideally you will have had some exposure to major UK retailers and be looking to build on your experience and take the next career step. For example, you may currently be operating at National Account Executive or Key Account level and looking for a new opportunity. You will need to be a great communicator, results orientated and have strong interpersonal skills.
