A leading fine food specialist looking for a produce buying expert!

This is an exciting role for an experienced produce buyer to join a premium branded food business. Reporting into the General Manager and managing a small team you will manage the day to day procurement and supply chain function of this 24/7 operation. Managing the produce category and a portfolio of suppliers to develop this role is an ideal mix of managing a small team whilst still having responsibility for the operational and strategic sourcing of the finest food products. Its an autonomous role allowing you to implement changes to benefit the business quickly and introduce you to a variety of amazing products and suppliers from across the globe.

Produce buying experience is essential ideally within a food service environment and candidates will need to be very commercially focused.

The role forms part of the management team where energy, cultural fit and great organisational and planning skills are essential to be successful.
