Area Sales Representative - Automotive Tools - £28K + 5K OTE

Package: up to £28,000 basic, plus £5,000 commission & fully expensed company car

The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for selling 5 brands of classic tools, consumables and body repair tools into the automotive aftermarket, motor factors and buying groups, across the East Anglia and parts of the Midlands. Selling at director level, to sales reps and procurement, you will be required to retain 300 existing accounts and build strong relationships. A key requirement, 2-3 nights away per week, due to the size of the territory. To be successful in this role you must have field sales experience, ideally sold to distributors.

The Company: Our client specialises in the manufacturer of tools used in the motor trade. Their success has allowed them to expand across Europe; Norway, Ireland, Germany and Spain to name a few. Selling to wholesale outlets, motor factors, independent retailers and hardware stores, their policy to consistently update their tool range with new and innovative products. They are now looking for a relationship builder who is tenacious and passionate, with a field sales background.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Must have field sales experience
  • Open on background but ideally have sold to distributors
  • Relationship builder, tenacious and passionate.
  • Driving License
