Our Client is a rapidly expanding major FMCG brand in their category.
A vacancy exists for a Territory Manager to cover the North/North East of England. The role revolves around managing and developing Independent Convenience Retail accounts as well as some Independent CTNs on the area.
Candidates will draw stock from the various Booker depots on the areas so he/she will need to live within half an hour of one of the following places;
It is essential that candidates have experience managing/developing Independent Convenience Retail accounts either totally independent outlets or those operating under a Symbol Group banner.
Exposure to small multi-site retailers would be a strong preference ( ie the owner operated companies with between 5 to 20 shops ).
Also an understanding of how the wholesale channel works with and supplies the convenience channel would be a bonus as well. The job involves about 1 day each week demonstrating products at the wholesalers, so whilst not essential, some experience of demonstrating might be a ( small ) bonus.
