Part of a £multi-billion global food FMCG manufacturing organization our client supplies Brand leading products to the world’s largest retail, foodservice, and manufacturing customers.

  

Due to internal promotion, we are now seeking a dynamic Senior Account Manager who can add real value as well as demonstrate the ability to progress within this global business.

 

The Role

 

Reporting to the Sector Controller you will be working as part of the Ingredients sales team and be responsible for:

 

  • Maximising sales and profitability within a portfolio of £multi million existing accounts which will include some of the largest international food and drink manufacturing businesses.


  • Developing an effective partnership relationship with your customers


  • Delivering profitable growth through the development of innovative NPD, comprehensive category development and effective account planning.


  • As well as growing your existing accounts you will of course continually be aware of new business opportunities to maximise profitable business growth. 

The Person 

You will already be a National Account Manager with a proven track record of success, you will be:

  • Of Graduate calibre you will have experience of managing major Manufacturing or Retail customers.  

 

  • Motivated, driven and highly professional coupled with a high work ethic and a proven track record of sales success.

 

  • Evidence of negotiation skills and strategic growth contribution required.

 

  • Proven track record of the delivery of sales objectives.

 

  • Technical food and beverage knowledge would be an advantage and a background gained in ingredients and flavours would be an advantage.

 

  • Strong P&L management experience
 

Able to demonstrate strong presentation and negotiation ability, you will thrive on dealing with customers at all levels.
