This is an exciting opportunity for any Sale Development Manager to join a leading foodservice concept provider.

The Company:

  • They are a well-known and exciting brand that specialises in providing a food concept solution for the foodservice sector.
  • Our customer base is targeted around the education, leisure and healthcare sectors. This includes the likes of schools, colleges, hospitals, theme parks and contract caterers.
  • We have a great reputation within the industry; we are proud to be crowned LACA outstanding supplier of the year and have donated over £10,000 to help critically ill children in hospitals and hospices across the UK.
  • Although we are a multimillion-pound business with a strong market presence, we still have plenty of opportunity for growth with a solid plan and structure put in place to ensure this.
  • Due to an opportunity after an internal promotion, we are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join us on our growth to further success.

The Role:

  • Within this position, you will be responsible for both managing and growing a portfolio of foodservice accounts within the territory.
  • The main aspect of the role will involve consulting with your customer base to support them with our food concept offering.
  • This will entail educating customers on our brand and products as well as providing them with the necessary equipment and after sales support.  
  • This account base will consist of groups as well as independent accounts, however your main contact will be focussed at end user and site level.

The Applicant:

  • The successful candidate will be an ambitious, energetic, sales professional who has previously sold into the foodservice sector.
  • Candidates with experience selling into education or who have experience selling a concept/ solution will prove highly advantageous.
  • Candidates should either have experience working with food products or have a very strong passion for food.
  • Candidates must be an enthusiastic, target driven and with a strong personality.
