The Role

Due to movement in their existing team, our client is looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join their commercial team. You will be responsible for going out and winning new business and growing range coverage with a few existing clients. The scope for growth in this role is massive and will be attractively rewarded with a great bonus scheme.

- Win new business with a variety of different clients (this could be anything from TJ Morris, to Topshop)
- Find a niche area to supply into clients and by getting your foot in the door then be able to offer more from different parts of the range

- Be on trend and know what is likely to sell in the various retailers and with their demographic
- Build trust and develop relationships internally & externally.
- Be able to work in a small but talented team

Profile
- Graduate calibre (degree not compulsory but desired)
- Commercial acumen/flair for sales
- Prior experience in either the gifting/ bath and body/ hydration categories in targeting prospective clients
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
- Highly motivated, works well under pressure and to deadlines.
- Team player, but also able to work on own initiative.
- Strong desire to develop and progress their career.
- Within a commutable distance of the office
