The role
If you have had enough of being beaten by the top 4 and fighting hard to manage a declining or flat category then this could be the Senior National Account Manager role for you.
This is the largest, most high profile and strategically important SNAM role in the UK/EMEA region of this bluechip business. The account is worth over £60mill, is growing c.10% and is looking after the biggest B2B customer the company has – the trading relationship is strong and in a good place. You will have high levels of autonomy and input into the wider strategic direction of this account and will need to work closely with all the other departments in the company in order to build and drive this strategy.
After c.6month in role [and with good performance] it is likely you will take full ownership for the 3 year plan on this account, so the ability to step up into a bigger role quickly is crucial for the successful candidate.

About you
We are looking for a Senior National Account Manager who has come from a bluechip background, can demonstrate good progression & results to date but is looking to get a wider breadth of skills and wants to do something slightly different to a ‘standard’ SNAM role. This role can quickly develop into a much larger position so we are looking for someone that has the capability to learn & move up as quickly as the company needs them to.
You will need to be able to influence internally as well as externally as there are lots of different departments involved in this customer [as is to be expected given it’s the most important customer]. There is not lots of processes or structures [despite the company size!] so if you enjoy autonomy and fast decision making – this could be the role for you.
Degree educated, ideally with food experience however, calibre is more important than category.

Salary
c.£65 000 basic, car allowance, bonus and bluechip benefits.
