We are looking for a Customer Business Manager to head up one of our Wholesale channels and join our Wholesale Leadership team. This role will allow you full autonomy to think creatively and work with the customer to grow the JBP. You will manage a team of National Account Managers & Account Executives so previous management experience is critical. You will be fully responsible for the P&L, Promotion Calendar, Execution and Joint Business Plan. We want to someone who is more than happy to roll their sleeves up and help this channel grow. Our Customer is one of the biggest Wholesalers in the UK and they have exciting growth plans planned for 2020; this is an excellent time to be joining! What you'll get up to

  • Fully own business partnership for all three PepsiCo Business Units; Snacks, Juice and Grains
  • Lead customer trading relationship to group trading director (board) level, director of trading, category controller and category manager
  • Ownership of key customer's customer relationships for example company owned outlets and distribution agreements
  • Execution of the PepsiCo Calendar
  • Build partnership with the customer to develop, manage and execute our joint business plans to achieve revenue, volume and share targets
  • Own the JBP and AOP for the customers
  • Work through internal cross functional teams and external teams to deliver account plans
  • Work with the customer and internal cross-functional teams to secure best in-store execution and execute the promotional programme to deliver expected ROI
  • Develop and deliver execution for marketing programmes, NPD and base initiatives, in line with internal expectations
  • Manage and develop cross-functional relationships both internally and externally
  • Represent customer / channel at key internal forums
  • Line management of 3x direct reports - supporting & career development

  • Your experience and ability

  • Must be able to work from Reading 2 days per week
  • Experience working within Wholesale & Field Sales (FMCG)
  • Strong financial awareness - structure of P&Ls
  • Highly organised as will be accountable for multiple parts
  • Line management experience
  • Thrives in a fast pace environment and is agile
  • Excellent communication skills - engage and influence multiple stakeholders to build strong working relationships
  • Account Management FMCG
  • Top tier CPG experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Hunger and Drive to succeed & progress
