This is as rare as they come and the NAM who steps into this role must be capable of:

  • Working with a complex set of customers and picking up the business dynamic fast
  • Strong leadership in team development/ coaching/ mentoring
  • Prioritising and have strong organisational skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and networking!

This National Account Manager role will see you take responsibility for a significant piece of business in a channel which is by far the most critical to the brand and offers the most room for growth.  HQ is London yet this is a home-based contract and the role will see you travel the breadth of the UK working with your team to deliver for your customers.

 

If you’re a people person, passionate about brand and ambitious to deliver strong numbers and initiatives for your customers and brand, then this should grab your attention.  

 

What we’re looking for in experience and persona which will make for a successful candidate:

  • FMCG national account management experience (minimum of 2/3 years) Channel experience doesn’t matter – this is about having the right approach and attitude which will work for your customer base and your team
  • Ambition to step into a controller level role in the next 2-4 years
  • You’ll be a fantastic networker with strong stakeholder management skills – you love being out and about constantly!
  • You’ll have the attributes for a strong leader; you enjoy coaching, can spot talent, develop winning mindsets and instil confidence, ambition and drive
  • You have an attitude which inspires, drives and takes ownership
  • You’re someone who finds solutions to any problem
  • You’re positive in mindset, proactive in approach, you go the extra mile
  • You’re happy to stay away a 2/3 nights a week and have heaps of personality!

If you’ve read that and it totally sounds like you then this is the role (in brief top line form!):

  • National Account Manager responsible for a number of customers within the Impulse channel
  • Team leadership of two NAEs
  • Significant P&L responsibility with a focus on margin
  • Networking across your customer base driving engagement and leading from the front
  • Develop and drive incentives across your customer base enabling them to really push the brand agenda
