What’s new? What’s happening? What’s going on? It’s all here – a client whose products have taken the USA market by storm. They have already started to develop national distribution in the UK and are committed to developing a presence with every retailer. This quality product range has resulted in a major growth trend and due to this they need to strengthen their team by appointing an additional National Account Manager to their current sales team.
The role is to develop business plans and sales strategies across a major multiple that will deliver both profit and growth. Your key performance indicators will include developing relationships cross functionally, driving sales and managing trade promotional spend, whilst developing retailer category plans ensuring they integrate with company and sector strategy.
Ideal candidates will have an FMCG background that has provided them with classical sales training and an understanding of the core needs of account management. An ability to manage complex negotiations backed up with a grasp of category management is essential. Experience with a major multiple is essential.
Our client is a business that can mix the classical candidate with candidates who can demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and will need this person to be able to demonstrate ‘true’ account plan management.
