A superb opportunity for a very driven, ambitious commercial Export professional to play a major role in the International growth of my client. A background in entering, developing and managing the growth of the North American market is essential for this role as well as a background in D2R and managing a distribution network internationally.

Client Details

My client is a fast-growing UK based FMCG company operating primarily in the Health & Beauty space with some terrific brands and a constantly developing portfolio of products. Due to growth and ambitious plans they are now looking for this exciting new Senior International Sales Manager role.


The Senior International Sales Manager will:-
  • be the primary contact for partners and retailers across the US and Canadian region
  • build strong, lasting relationships with all distributors and retailers
  • use key networking, previous relationships, databases and research to develop new customers and distribution partners for the brands
  • initiate all new contact with these potential partners, and present the company brands to secure long term and sustainable, profitable business
  • negotiate terms and conditions with all partners
  • manage and control the implementation of brand strategies throughout the network in line with company strategic brand and category plans
  • coordinate all marketing activity related to the partners and region
  • develop and launch three year plans based on the local markets and trends and dynamics of these markets
  • run regular update meetings on forecasts and targets for each period
  • consistently review and observe the market place, making sure that you have the correct partners in place


The successful candidate for this Senior International Sales Manager will come with following skills and background:-
  • proven experience in an Export / International commercial in the US and Canada as well as Asia and EMEA
  • experience of working and developing through a branded FMCG company
  • proven management of a distribution network
  • strong background in working with retailers such as Walmart, Walgreen's, CVS, Target and others internationally
  • experience generally of working with mass retailers, grocery customers and drug stores in the US
  • full P&L experience, very confident and capable in financial management
  • excellent relationship building skills
  • excellent IT proficiency; Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • international travel is required for the role
  • ideally a base in the South East England but with some flex

Job Offer

Circa £70,000 per annum (dependent on the candidate) + car allowance + annual bonus + excellent benefits
