Job Details

We have 3 exciting Social Content Manager roles within the newly formed Digital Marketing & PR Centre of Expertise. This dynamic team has been formed to accelerate Digital and PR, working in to our core marketing teams. This team works across both GB and International, with the focus on:

-Best practice strategy and execution to Digital and PR,

-Build capability of Digital and PR within brand teams,

-Establish and manage a roster of key suppliers,

-Ensure that we are continually testing and learning to drive the efficiency and effectiveness across our Digital and PR activity.

As Social Content Manager, you will support the CofE and the brand marketing teams, providing Social Media content management for their UK social channels working on specific brands in our portfolio including Fruit Shoot, Robinsons, Aqua Libra, Purdey’s and The London Essence Company. You will be a Social Media content champion who is adept at creating, planning and scheduling a high volume of in-house planned and reactive social media content for publication across (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linked In.

You will be responsible for:

-Planning annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly social content calendars

-Producing content formats to create a rich consumer experience

-Publishing and scheduling of content across Social Media platforms globally, possibly on different time zones

-Liaising with stakeholders including agencies to ensure the social channels are reflective of the total brand plan

-Driving influencer conversation

-Overseeing content requirements for the brands including organic and paid content plus content that is distributed through other channels such as PR.

-Supporting the other markets that have branded social channels with content and best practice/learnings

-Testing, learning and tracking against KPIs

You will collaborate with the wider CofE Community team to share learning’s, support each other at key peak periods and out of hours. Whilst you are part of the CofE team, you will be sitting and working directly with the brand teams to immerse yourself in the brand, the consumer and trade professionals. These roles will be demanding but rewarding with opportunity to grow and develop with this new team function. We are looking for candidates who will use their own initiative, whilst remaining passionate and enthusiastic about Social Media in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Accountabilities:

Business Leadership

-Lead the Social media agenda, driving best in class Social content management.

-Continually improving the quality and ROI of our Digital spend.

-Look inwards as well as outwards for learning’s that can drive your channels forward.

Marketing and Brand Leadership

-Understand the target consumer and the role the brand can play in their lives. Bring insight in to how you plan content and engagement.

-Own and update the brand social ‘playbook’ to ensure that we are continually learning and adapting.

-Work with the CofE community team and brand teams to define the best practice approach to social channels.

-Identify and share learning’s across the portfolio.

-Continually monitor competitor activity and disseminate the learning’s in a timely and useful way.

-Work with the Digital Insights and Analytics Manager to track key metrics and unlock insight.

Excellence in Execution

-Create a compelling plan (content calendar) that reflects the brand calendar and taps in to key moments within the calendar year that the brand would be relevant to support.

-Develop content fit for the brand, consumer and channel.

-Manage and deliver a planned content with appropriate sign-off received in a timely manner.

-Continually listening and reacting where appropriate with on brand messaging.

-Attend brand and partner events to ensure that content is being captured and distributed effectively.

-Working with the other brand agencies to ensure content they capture is fit for purpose on the social channels.

-Working with the Britvic studio and agencies to curate the higher production-based content that supports paid media plans and PR.

-Responsible for micro-influencer outreach and collaboration plus brand partnerships.

-Monitor real-time data for in-flight digital campaigns to drive effectiveness.

Leadership and People Development

-Support the quick establishment and embedding of the new CofE. Building great working relationships across the team.

-Build knowledge and capability of social media community and content management across stakeholders and the Marketing community. 

-Build a strong working relationship with the brand teams you support.

-Build a strong working relationship with the community management team.

Winning Relationships

-Developing powerful relationships within the CofE team and the broader marketing function across GB and our central M&I function.

-Manage and successfully develop relationships with agency partners to ensure timely access to and fit for purpose content. 

-Build strong relationships with influencers and potential brand partners.

Experience Required:

-Proven track record managing and executing consumer brand social channels.

-Highly creative, culturally immersed and understands what great social content looks like.

-Proficient in desktop publishing tools that will enable you to create and deliver engaging content.

-Good copywriting skills.

-Photography experience preferable.

-In-house FMCG, Adult Beverages & Drinks Trade or CPG experience preferable.

-Social Media events coverage is preferable.

-Global Social media platform experience is preferable.
