National Account Manager – Housewares
Home Based (2 days a week in office)

My client is a privately owned small to medium enterprise who specialise within the SDA and Housewares industries. The business has entered a new phase in their history with successful brands in their portfolio. The business has had a lot of success over the last 10 years growing from around £30m – circa £100m.
Due to a replacement in the sales team, the business is recruiting a National Account Manager. As NAM you will inherit a portfolio of accounts which include Asda, Argos/Sainsburys and Groupon. Along with account management, you will be expected to prospect for new business. High on the list of target business is Tesco. The role is home based with 2 days a week in the office (Mon & Tues).
As NAM you must have a proven track record of managing large grocery accounts and have been successful in opening new business accounts and generating an increase in overall account turnover. Experience selling branded Housewares products would be an advantage but not essential. You will already be a National Account Manager within the consumer goods industry. You must be hungry, ambitious and have a real appetite for new business development.
