National Account Manager – Healthy Snacks / Food to Go.
£50-60,000 Basic, Bonus, Car Allowance + Benefits
Our client already enjoys an enviable reputation as the leading healthy snack provider into the contract catering channel, however the introduction of a brand new range of branded snacks represents a whole new opportunity in the world of ( multiple ) coffee shops, cafes and QSRs. This, in addition to the opening of brand new production facilities and offices near Slough in Berkshire in October, represents the springboard for the company’s ongoing success. The company has also secured a substantial capital investment from its parent company in Europe, which further ensures it will meet its objective to be a category leader within the next two to three years.
To be considered for this exciting role you should already have experience of a food ( or drink ) to go product; this could be either sandwiches, flapjacks, sweet bakery or drinks or any similar food to go category. You should definitely have had exposure to the national wholesalers ( Bidfood and / or Brakes ), in addition to which you will have had a good level of experience with end users ( ideally either contract caterers and or coffee shops multiples / QSRs ). You will also be dealing with multi-site ( end user ) businesses, very often with twenty or thirty sites ( or more ), so it’s essential you are used to dealing at Key Accounts / National Accounts level and dealing with a central buyer. Strong Key and/or National Accounts experience is essential here.
The job holder will need to be in Slough perhaps once or twice each week, so you should live no more than an hour away, as this will be the site of the new office and production facility.
