Junior National Account Manager – Foodservice
£41,289 to £49,786 plus bonus and company car
Our client already enjoys an enviable reputation as a leading supplier of Foodservice items to hotels and restaurants throughout the Midlands and the South of England. With some 4,000 different SKUs covering mainly chilled and frozen products they really can service the needs of everybody ! Thanks to a substantial cash investment from their parent company, our client is soon to open a brand new offices to serve the Scottish market place and the northern part of England. In addition the company is shortly to introduce an innovative range of ambient products which will further capitalise on the relationships with the current customer base. There is a very strong customer base already, particularly so in Scotland, and the economies of scale and cost savings to be achieved by the opening of the new office will result in even greater market penetration, and even greater profitability.
Your job then will be to take on and to manage the relationships with Scottish HORECA Groups, to capitalise and optimise these relationships to the mutual benefit of both parties. There is also substantial scope for new business which would also be a part of your remit, although probably the majority of you time would be spent on managing and optimising the existing customer base.
To be considered for this exciting role you should be an experienced foodservice Key or National Account manager with a good grasp of either the Hotel Group, Pub Group or restaurant Group channels. You will need to hard working and commercially astute, as you will be required to work autonomously and to stand on your own two commercial feet.
It would be ideal if you were based either in Scotland or the north of England ( no further south than Newcastle please ). The new offices will be outside of Edinburgh, so when completed you will be required to attend meeting there every week.
In return for your dedication and efforts our client is prepared to pay a basic salary of between £41,289 to £49,786 plus bonus and company car. Career prospects are excellent for the right candidates.
