BUSINESS UNIT MANAGER – New Brand launch

Office based West London – Accessible from M4 to M40 belt & London (by tube)

Pitched c£65k plus package (car & bonus)

An amazing & rare Business Unit Manager opportunity for an entrepreneurial sales person to launch & explode a breakthrough healthy snacking concept in the UK market. The brand will focus on meeting snacking needs with a unique proposition focusing on taste, health and sustainability at affordable prices. Based in West London, the parent company has made a substantial financial commitment to develop UK production facilities in order to deliver these new concepts at pace and in an efficient manner.

We are now looking for a Business Unit Manager to take the concept to the UK Grocery & Impulse retailers and Out of Home customers. Using your knowledge of the UK market, you’ll write, validate & implement a 3 year growth plan. From inspiring the trade at first contact and subsequently build long term, sustainable relationships with them reflecting their cultural values as well as living and breathing the brand everyday. This opportunity will given you experience as close to running your own business.

As Business Unit Manager you’ll partner with operations, product development and marketing, we’re looking for an experienced, pro-active, self-starter with sales experience in an SME environment who’s looking to take on the responsibility and challenge of establishing a new brand in a highly competitive market. The right candidate will be positive, hard-working, ambitious, flexible, an excellent communicator to multiple stakeholders and personalities, can work at pace and also has the ability to seamlessly flip between a strategic & operational mindset.

Successful candidates for this Business Unit Manager role will come with a track-record of success within Food & Drink account management ideally with multi-channel experience across Grocery, Impulse and Out of Home channels. Healthy food exposure and interest in health & wellbeing would be an advantage and build credibility both internally and with the trade. You’ll demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit, agility & adaptability and a ‘can do’ attitude is a must.
