Technical Sales Manager, Food and Drink Ingredients, Home Based
Do you have that unique mix of strong commercial sales and the ability to explain and develop technically complex ingredient solutions?
Calling all technical ingredients sales experts….this is a new role for the business as they expand their commercial team.
This fast growing and ambitious international business have a well-established and enviable reputation within the core ingredients business. As part of that ambition they have made huge investments within new applications and innovation, working with contract manufacturers and brands to create brand new concepts to take the market by storm.
The role will focus on a technically complex ingredients solution, generating new sales opportunities and building strong working relationships with customers to support their product development and routes to market. You will engage with both new and existing customers working closely with their Innovation and Marketing teams.
To be successful I this role you will:
- Be degree educated preferably in food science or similar
- Have proven successful sales results within technically complex food or beverage ingredients
- Have previous experience on opening up new customer engagement
- Ideally have a second European language (German desirable)
- Be flexible to travel across UK and Europe
Additionally, strong communication skills are essentially and the ability to explain complex issues in simple terms and manage multiple projects from inception through to completion, including the management of multiple stakeholders (internal and external).
