Job Description

The key responsibilities of the area sales manager are:

  • Manage all aspects of several existing accounts
  • Planning and executing customer meetings and relationship development
  • Product portfolio management
  • Some merchandising in stores will be required
  • Grow existing accounts by gaining additional product listing
  • Conduct staff and customer demonstrations
  • Seek new business opportunities and product listings
  • Attend trade fairs and networking events
  • Set customer budgets in accordance with company goals
  • Develop NPD roll out plans in line with company strategy

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Excellent planning and priority setting
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Commercial business acumen with good numerical skills
  • Result orientated and creative
  • Team played as well as self motivated and self drive
  • Strong presentation skills
  • MS office
  • UK driving licence
