Do you enjoy deep diving into data with the ability to turn insight into a compelling category story?
Can you nurture relationships with key retail buyers with a view of becoming a trusted category partner?  Do you have a keen eye for detail with strong analysis skills?  If so the below opportunity could be for you . . .

I’m working with a global food business who are looking to add additional support within their Category function, the role would suit a Category or Insight Executive looking to step up into a larger role, an existing Category Manager or a candidate looking to make the move from agency side to client.
The role offers a host of great benefits including flexi working (flexi hours and the ability to work remotely), 6k car allowance, annual bonus, pension & healthcare to name but a few.
 
Key responsibilities;
  • Develop relationships with key retail buyers
  • Working cross functionally with Brand and NPD teams
  • Develop promotional guidelines
  • Range review analysis and recommendations
  • Review merchandising to understand range changes
  • Own and drive the Category strategy

Key requirements;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Strong attention to detail skills
  • A flexible approach to building relationships internally and externally
  • Experience of key data/insight providers including IRI & Kantar
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
