Business Unit Controller - On Trade Spirits Brand
Do you have the ability and experience in alcoholic drinks to launch and grow our own branded spirits business?
We already have a well established and hugely respected presence within drinks, this is your opportunity to be instrumental in driving and increasing our presence in spirits with own branded, exclusive labels and Joint Ventures into the On Trade.
You will be a key member of the Commercial team with all the support of the broader business such as Marketing, Insights etc and you will work cross-functionally with all of them, but even though Spirits will be your world and own personal sandpit to play in, we still need you to be able to play nice with others! Although this is a senior role, by the nature of the role and our business, we are still going to expect you to put in the leg work required to build a brand from scratch. So you need to be a driven and focused individual, confident in your own abilities to hunt out and develop viable opportunities and also collaborative in your approach to pull the virtual team together internally.
We're looking for some key skills:
- A comprehensive understanding of routes to market, across On and Off Trade.
- Proven experience of brand building/seeding within the spirits industry.
- Clearly demonstrated management and leadership skills with increasing responsibility apparent in your career to date.
- A "muck in" down-to-earth mentality - no ivory towers or prima donna's!!
