Silk'n, formerly known as InnoEssentials International, is a vital organization founded in 2003 and since 2013 has been an owned subsidiary of the international Israeli holding company HomeSkinovations. We market innovative consumer products under the name Silk'n, which are sold at various retailers throughout Europe. In addition, our products can be found online at well-known e-retailers and in our own e-commerce channel.

In recent years we have become one of the market leaders in innovative beauty products that we present to a wide audience. Silk'n has grown into a global brand in a short period of time, praising the products that fall within this brand for their performance and value for money. Simply, Silk'n makes it possible to use beauty products at home that would otherwise only be available in a beauty salon. You may think of electronic devices with which the face and body can be depilated with light pulses, or devices that are able to rejuvenate the skin. Every year, Silk'n presents new, innovative products that meet the numerous beauty needs of both women and men.

Our head office is located in Barendrecht, the Netherlands and we have offices across Europe including Germany, France, Spain, Turkey and China. In the Netherlands we have a team of 30 employees.

Job Description

Silk'n have ambitious growth plans in the UK with the aim of this role to manage the existing retail accounts as well as develop a number of new retail accounts. The role will have more focus on growing Silk'n's retail presence in the UK.

The Country Sales Manager - UK:

  • An account manager for all of the existing UK retail account
  • Develop and open a number of new target retail accounts
  • Drive sales value growth and brand awareness by building brand advocacy and strong relationships with our retailer partners
  • Liaison between sales and marketing, aiding the development of point of purchase material and marketing of current and new products
  • Define and achieve sales goals, budgets and margin targets
  • Submit monthly and quarterly sales recaps outlining the wins and losses.
  • Work directly with key accounts to ensure proper service levels are maintained, special projects are executed, and promotional displays are implemented
  • You will analyze your performance and formulate strong sales development plans
  • You'll support New Product Development launches and the retail execution across your area¿
  • You position yourself as a trusted advisor to our customers, you are the key to their success
  • Create a long-term partnership with our customers and keep a strong focus on your Sales role - sales growth, range development and market share increase

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Country Sales Manager - UK:

  • A proven track record of selling SDA products into retail accounts
  • Experience selling personal care / beauty and wellness is preferable but not essential
  • A proven track record developing and opening new retail accounts
  • Vast experience managing retail accounts is also very important
  • Retail experience across multiple channels - grocers, department stores and beauty wholesalers
  • You'll be able to demonstrate a passion for people, as well as the ability to engage stakeholders from the shop floor through to directors¿¿
  • Commercially minded, you'll enjoy having big strategic conversations as well as getting stuck in to make things happen
  • You will be comfortable thinking on your feet and finding your own path¿
  • You will have experience of working to and exceeding sales targets, as well as being a skilled negotiator with excellent presentation skills¿
  • You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, leading others, building relationships and solving problems
  • Enthusiastic, resilient, tenacious and persuasive with excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • The ability to be a brand advocate and encourage such advocacy in targeted retail sites
  • Demonstrates drive, energy and resilience to work in an agile trading environment
  • Experience of influencing and negotiating with teams at all levels
  • Be sales driven and commercially aware of the beauty market and trends
  • Must be organized, self-motivated and extremely well presented
  • Data driven with a keen focus on forecasting
  • Be willing and able to undertake regular national travel and occasional international travel
  • Be based in England and happy to do national travel.
