A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a successful sales professional from the foodservice and / or food equipment industry to join this market-leading client as their new Sales Manager - South, looking after key customers in the independent and buying group channel, building and driving superb business relationships.

My client is a marketing leading tableware business with a hugely successful and established domestic and international track record.

Description

The Sales Manager - South will;
  • deliver strategic sales plans for each key customer
  • work closely with the independent and group accounts across the south of England increasing listings and market share
  • seek all opportunities to promote my clients products and services
  • maintain comprehensive records and files for all clients including all sales activities and KPIs
  • organise promotional activity to boost sales working in conjunction with purchasing and marketing teams internally
  • attend monthly sales reviews with the head of sales
  • agrees areas to focus on, agree targets and track performance
  • produce the monthly sales reports ion all customers highlighting all activity and achievements
  • maintain accurate records of all prospecting across the region, updating and utilising the sales database
  • ensure all proposals for pricing and other discounts and promotions are in line with the company policies and limits
  • report on all relevant market trends and advise and counsel on recommendations relating to these
  • develop very Strong relationships internally and externally


Profile

The successful candidate for this Sales Manager - South role will come the following skills and experiences:-
  • track record of sales growth with customers
  • experience of working in the independent channel and buying groups
  • experience of working across the southern part of England
  • strong business development and networking, as well as customer management skills
  • strong planning and organisational skills
  • a goal orientated and target driven individual
  • track record of strong decision making and judgement - able to influence
  • assertiveness, flexible, adaptable to change and takes the initiative
  • strong team player, excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • strong work ethic, excellent drive and someone that wants to be successful
  • based in south east England or the southern part of the country able to work in the field across the M3/M4/M25 network for key customer visits


Job Offer

circa £45,000 base salary + good car allowance + annual bonus based on performance + other benefits
