Sales Account Manager
To ensure that Customers receive consistently high standards of overall service and to adopt the world class service. To provide operational support to the sales team and help to achieve sales and profit targets for their accounts.
Our client is an FMCG C.D business who are looking for a candidate who they can train into an account manager to manage a number of accounts in the business at office level.
Provide excellent customer service with day to day contact with Customers, Field Sales reps and Agents: dealing with daily queries and requests
Maintain close relationships with the field sales teams, ensuring that communication is maintained
Answer incoming customer sales calls/emails promptly and deal with all customer requests as fully as possible
Create and set up new customer accounts and request credit limit with accounts
Provide customer with the required information, new line forms, order confirmations, images etc.
Send all samples, images etc to customer for approval
Managing pro forma invoices where applicable
Start, manage and update workflows
Gather details for the customer spec sheet for supply chain.
Approve carton marks, label positions etc match customer spec sheet
Work with shipping to expedite containers where required,
Experience in a multi-speed supply chain environment
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel (Pivot Tables) Word and Outlook
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrable excellent time management ability
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of team.
