This is an excellent role for a Fundraiser Coordinator to join a national charity on a fixed term contract for 3 months. The ideal candidate will have experience within the Not for Profit and Charities sector, fund-raising and be immediately available.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Fundraiser Coordinator is to coordinate and drive the fund-raising activity for the charity, manage the volunteers team, events, social media and media enquiries for the organisation to drive donations and engagement.

Profile

The successful Fundraiser Coordinator will be the following:
  • Background with the not for profit sector within the fund-raising function
  • Financial management skills used to working to income targets
  • Demonstrable experience of creating and managing great supporter relationships with volunteers to deliver agreed objectives and income targets
  • Able to manage the planning of income/expenditure budget and responsible for supplying monthly updates to management.
  • Experience of planning and managing annual events calendar
  • Experience of building effective relationships with key partners in and out of the organisation
  • Able to utilise social media to promote charities activity
  • An Excellent communicator
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • IT Literate
  • Strong team player able to work effectively with diverse client groups
  • Must be able to work flexibly including some evenings, some weekends and some overnight stays
  • Working from home based role - must be based in the Newcastle upon Tyne / Northumberland area
