Are you an experienced project manager, with a background in retail or large blue chip businesses? Are you all about creating solutions and delivering projects quickly? Do you have an understanding of IT/technology to improve supply chains? If so, we want to hear from you.

About the Employer:
Our client is an international, multi-channel retailer with a strong high street presence and reputation for superb quality. The business is going through a period of change with lots of exciting plans for the future that are coming to fruition.

About the Job:
This role will focus on the food side of the business and will lead projects to fulfill efficient delivery within supply chains through software solutions. You will utilise your experience in project management and transformation/change management to drive the process of improving software solutions within supply chain and will be part of the team that rolls this out across food. So, you will need to be able to liaise with a number of cross functional business stakeholders to gather information, solve problems, design solutions, pull together working groups, and make decisions so that this project can be delivered and implemented across the food arm of the business within agreed timescales.

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have experience in project management within a retail environment - ideally food retail. You will have a proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and deliver solutions through software. You will understand software, although not necessarily an IT person, and be able to communicate effectively with IT and software suppliers to deliver the projects required.

Minimum Requirements:
You will need to be available for a fixed term contract role (~12 months), be able to get into London regularly and have a proven track record of delivering projects through effective management. You will need to be a clear and concise communicator and be able to influence the wider business.

Application Process:
The successful applicant will move through 2 stages, one of which will likely include a task or presentation. This process can take time to complete.
