Head of e-Commerce- Europe
You will be based in Rickmansworth- only 20 mins from London, Marylebone (Chiltern railways) and 30 mins from Baker Street (Metropolitan line)

European e-commerce leader, driving and developing close partnerships with key accounts and working closely with internal regional teams to execute your strategic channel plan and customer JBP’s, in particular Amazon Europe. You’ll work collaboratively with a team of talented and passionate sales people, analysts, and other sales support staff and build successful relationships with some of the largest and most well-known retail chains and e-Commerce retailers in Europe.
This role will focus on developing and implementing the e-Commerce strategy across Europe to drive sales growth and build new revenue streams.
What you’ll be doing:
Review and upgrade the e-Commerce strategic business plan for Europe
Develop and maintain a close partnership with the e-Commerce Team to create and deliver the sales and profitability plan for Europe
Working as part of our Senior Sales team, establish and build relationships with the key contacts at our e-Commerce customer accounts
Bring thought leadership to how we approach our e-Commerce accounts, so we stay ahead of the competition
Clarify and measure best in class execution of our brand on all key customer e-Commerce platforms specifically Amazon Build a long-term strategy to drive our business using data and insights and drive more visibility for our products Accelerate our existing business with Amazon to drive profitable and sustainable growth and building a strong partnership Review Sales data with the Business Analyst to maximize performance opportunities Working collaboratively with the e-Commerce team, Sales Managers across Europe to ensure country strategy across all channels and market balance
Identify and track key performance indicators to measure business success across the markets and within each account, review and ensure ongoing productivity and profitability
Build and maintain account promotional calendars, with the e-Commerce Analyst.
Prepare for customer meetings, put together business review documents, meeting presentations, product recommendations, and meeting agendas
Coordinate with internal resources on custom product development projects, availability, order flow, order issues etc. (interfacing with product development, logistics, demand planning, marketing)
Support e-Commerce Coordinator and Analyst to ensure we understand market dynamics of the customers and manage our 3P marketplace, ensuring channel management of products as appropriate
What you’ll have: At least 3 years’ experience of implementing e-Commerce strategies and programmes at both internal and external level A proven track record of success in Account Management preferably Amazon Excellent understanding of e-Commerce tools and solutions and experience of developing and delivering plans to drive growth A strong leader of people and able to demonstrate examples of working successfully with others to increase performance, with the presence and ability to communicate, motivate and influence with senior management Pro-active and results driven, focused on achieving smart goals with a strong commitment to the business and team work A hands-on leader who demonstrates initiative and has a positive and professional attitude Ability to quickly establish key priorities and secure support from colleagues, including senior management and business stakeholders Ability to think outside the box Excellent team player with a collaborative approach Able to work as part of a team or under their own initiative, demonstrating organisational, multi-tasking and prioritisation skills in order to meet exacting deadlines Detail oriented and demonstrate forward strategic thinking Excellent communicator, problem solver, solutions oriented and negotiator Excellent IT skills including strong Excel and Presentation skills
