Category Executive (Retail Customers) – based West Yorkshire - £Highly Attractive + Package

Our client is an instantly recognisable FMCG/Consumer healthcare business based in West Yorkshire; on their behalf we are now recruiting for a Category Analyst / Executive to join the consumer team.

Reporting directly to a Senior Category Manager this person will be responsible for assisting on the development of category strategy, implementing brand and customer category plans as well as adding value to brand planning and retail customer relationships.

You will provide accurate and timely reporting and analysis using a variety of internal and external data (IRI, Kantar, etc) to support the sales and marketing teams across all divisions.  To support the Senior Category Manager in providing insights, ensuring that the business is measuring its overall performance accurately at a brand level as well as at a customer level.

To be successful in this role the candidate will :
 

• Already be operating in an analytically based position ideally in category within a consumer products environment
• Proven success of building partnerships with customers & stakeholders
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Ideally some experience of IRI/AC Nielsen, Dunnhumby, Kantar, Retailer EPOS
• A results focused team player
