My client, a leisure and sport business, based in South East England, are looking for a Business Development Executive - Fitness, to join their global business.

Client Details

My client are a very well-known wellness company with an aim to make people happier and healthier. They manufacture globally recognised gym equipment and operate in over 100 countries across the world.

Their products are top of the range, premium products with an estimated £35 Million users per day. With over 30 years' experience in the market and year on year growth of 20% they are really excited about what the future holds.

The successful candidate will join a vibrant, exciting sales team and will be provided with excellent training. You will be given scope to make the role your own and there is a clear progression path to develop within the business. You will work from home and out on the road with occasional visits to the office.


Business Development Executive - Fitness:
  • Achieve sales and profitability target
  • Develop new accounts from their vast database
  • Visit existing customers to upsell and cross sell products
  • Plan the working week combining calls and appointments
  • Run onsite demo of my client's products
  • Organize and run seminars or webinars in order to duly promote the product portfolio
  • Supports customers in having a successful implementation
  • To develop long-term relationships that my client can build on
  • Develop business opportunities and exploit market potential
  • Identify potential accounts to be developed strategically
  • Maximize opportunities in all accounts across my client's portfolio
  • Be field based meeting with clients where necessary
  • Sell my clients fitness equipment as well as their digital products.


Business Development Executive - Fitness:
  • Knowledge of sales techniques (on the field and on the phone)
  • Knowledge of consultative selling techniques
  • Long-term customer relationship management skills
  • Proven track record developing new customers
  • Proven track record upselling to existing accounts
  • Sales operations (field sales and inside sales): scheduling, sales activities planning, pipeline management
  • Knowledge of activities relating to product presentation, communication and launch (product release, presentation to customers, sales rep training)
  • Market analysis skills (trends, product penetration, competitors, geographical mapping etc.)
  • Knowledge of fashion, trends, sport, fitness and lifestyle
  • Customer experience: analysis and deployment of processes and projects
  • Knowledge of Digital and IT tools
  • Knowledge of fitness, performance, health and product use
  • Wellness lifestyle

Job Offer

£27,000 per annum basic salary

Company car or car allowance

£17,000 commission, although commission is uncapped
