For over 20 years Bridor have supplied their high-quality products into the Retail, Foodservice Wholesale and End User within the UK. Culturally, Bridor have an excellent reputation for developing their employees and they maintain exceptional staff retention rates. Following strong growth both globally and within the UK, Bridor are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to further drive their presence within the UK Foodservice market.

Role

To further build their presence within the market and capitalise on previous success, Bridor have launched a global initiative to increase their sales teams in all markets to ensure all current customers receive best in class service and account management whilst maximising the opportunities to penetrate the market further. In accordance with this strategic decision, the UK business has created a number of new regional focused business development roles.

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving profitable growth across a portfolio of high end wholesaler and end user key accounts within the Foodservice channel across the major cities in the Midlands. Working closely with the National Account Managers as well as the wider Bridor sales and innovation team you will be responsible for developing successful and profitable relationships with existing customers including Michelin Star Restaurants, Hotel Groups, Coffee Shops and Wholesalers. In addition, this role will have a focus on developing new business opportunities within your region in line with the UK strategy.

Requirements

The successful candidate for this position will have a proven track record and good understanding of developing sales and building strong customer relationships. Experience within food is essential, as well as possessing a real passion for premium food products. The ideal candidate will be degree educated, with 2-5 years experience working within a blue chip food or drink business. You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in order to build relationships internally and with your customers. You will be an organised individual with the drive, motivation and passion to achieve sales and thrive on over delivering against targets. The role is fully home based and you will cover the following cities; Nottingham, Leicester, Birmingham and Derby.
