We have a superb National Account Manager opportunity to join a high growth SME (c£70m t/o) Food business that operate in ambient categories across both Own Label & Branded. With over 35 years experience, they are a passionate about great food that is ethically and responsibly produced. They have a unique proposition that very few companies can match which has led to countless awards from the Grocery Retailers and from trade.
They are a fast paced, exciting and results driven business that are now looking to appoint a dynamic National Account Manager to join them and manage one of their key Grocery Retailers. This is a truly exciting opportunity for someone currently in a National Account Manager role with Grocery or Discounter with 2-4 years experience but wanting to progress their career & earnings potential quickly.

As National Account Manager you would be fully accountable for a major retailer; managing the relationship; driving forward the customers vision and plan across the cross functional team; hold full JBP and P&L accountability. Building on a solid platform and relationship, they are now looking for a dynamic National Account Manager to play a pivotal role in strategically developing the account further within some challenging market conditions.
Successful candidates for this National Account Manager role will come with a track-record of success within Retail Buying or FMCG account management within a Top 8 Grocer with a minimum of two trading cycles under your belt. Able to demonstrate strong business acumen, commercial and negotiation skills are essential. A genuine flair for building customer relationships and a ‘can do’ attitude is a must. In summary the role would give you significant autonomy and exposure with a key retailer, you’ll be working with a team of driven individuals and a business that believes in rewarding people for their results!
