Are you an experienced retail planner with a background in forecasting, data analysis, store opening and critical path planning? Are you available for a fixed term contract role in London? If so, we would like to hear from you.

About the Employer:
Our client is an international, multi-channel retailer with a strong high street presence and reputation for superb quality. The business is going through a period of change with lots of exciting plans for the future that are coming to fruition.

About the Job:
This role is on the food side of the business and is focused on the use of the estate. You will be responsible for developing the plans and strategy for estate growth and store openings/closings within the regions that you will manage. You will drive improvement of the store supply chains, forecasts at line level, availability and sales performance as part of this role. You will base decisions on customer experience and keep them at the heart of every decision. You will develop strategies for developing supply plans, forecast models, wastage etc keeping potential peaks in mind. A key part of this role will be to develop forecasts for new stores that have no historic sales data. So, you will utilise your experience and data analysis skills to look at similar store formats and regions to deliver the best possible forecasts to ensure customer satisfaction and availability.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this role will have detailed and advanced experience in forecasting for retail markets. You will be able to interpret data to make informed decisions and drive supply chain efficiencies, availability and minimise wastage. Food or short shelf life product experience would therefore be a real benefit. You will be able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the new stores hit the ground running and minimise any potential supply issues. You will also play a key part in delivering plans for peak trading periods by utilising your data and allocation experience.

Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role as a minimum you must have excellent analytical skills including data manipulation in Excel. You must have experience creating a strategic plan and have advanced experience in forecasting.

Salary:
Circa £25,000 - £40,000 DOE + Benefits and bonus (call or email for full details).
