An opportunity has arisen with a global, market leading consumer good business with a fantastic reputation in the industry. They can offer a portfolio of very well renowned products across multiple categories, predominantly products for the home. A diverse business that have a number of recognised brands and licenses along with private-label. Our client has a strong history and heritage over a number of years’ and they are now part of a global organisation. Products are sold into a number of countries worldwide and major UK retailers including the top 4 grocers, department stores, high street and online retailers. We are seeking a Senior National Account Manager to join the team, managing major UK retailers with 1 indirect report.
Reporting into the Head of National Accounts, the Senior National Account Manager will have full P&L responsibility for a portfolio of major UK retailers, likely to be within the grocery & department store channel. You will need to develop existing relationships with the retailers and deliver exceptional customer service. This Senior National Account Manager role is highly strategic, numerical and you will need to be comfortable creating and implementing joint business plans for all your accounts. This person will also need to drive and develop new business through spotting opportunities to deliver sales growth and profitability. It’s important to work in line with brand strategy and with the reputation of the business in mind. You will also need to be a great internal communicator, team player and able to make a real impact.
In order to be considered for this Senior National Account Manager opportunity we are seeking candidates with a branded non-food consumer goods background. You will need to have operated at National Account or Senior National Account Management level with responsibility for major UK retailers, either grocery, discounters or department store experience. We require a strategic, customer orientated individual keen to develop your career within a growing organisation. You must also be personable, likeable and a great team player in order to fit in with the culture of our client.
