National Account Manager | Fresh Produce
We are working with a brilliant and growing fresh produce business based in Hertfordshire who through continued success, are now looking to add an experienced Account Manager to their vibrant and energetic Commercial team.
You will be working closely with the Commercial Manager and Commercial team to provided day-to-day management of the retail accounts and grow them in line with agreed targets with the business' goals. You will spend a bit of time getting to grips with the customer base and what will be required to develop this account further and build strong relationships with the buying teams.
You will have the opportunity to build and develop category plans and strategies that will deliver on agreed business targets and also for future growth. You will become the lead on this account, managing the account and building positive relationships. Being involved with everything from launching new products to leading projects alongside the Commercial Manager to analyse and improve the Commercial team and accounts.
The Successful Candidate:
The successful candidate will have the following:
Educated to a degree level or equivalent ideally. A qualification in food or agriculture would also be beneficial.
Experience working in fresh produce or fresh food. Ideally working with retailers or working in a retailer currently on a fast moving category.
Brilliant relationship building, Microsoft Office and communication skills.
