Finance Manager - Central London - £55K-£60K
We are looking for a Finance Manager/ Controller to join a leading provider of food regulatory advice and label approval and to lead the financial direction of this rapidly expanding business.
Established only 8 years ago, the team, which consists of experienced food industry professionals, were left frustrated with the traditional methods used by other service providers, who couldn’t deliver what was needed to help retailers and manufacturers label their products with confidence.
Due to their rapid growth over the last 8 years, the business has created a new position for a finance manager who will be responsible for the financial health of the business. They are looking for someone who has a strong experience within accounting, financial reporting and someone who can provide insightful analysis to all functions within the business and therefore determine the financial direction of the company.
This role requires someone who can be passionate about the business and be prepared to get stuck in. The successful candidate will be someone who can drive change, implement new systems and processes, provide strong analysis, efficiency savings and take the business into their next phase of growth. This role requires some to take control of the entire finance function and regenerate it, therefore we are looking for someone who has previous experience of managing a finance function.
This business also has a strong client base including the major multiples and leaders within food production. In this role you will be required to business partner with those clients and manage external stakeholders at all levels as well being a key business partner to the senior leadership team.
To be successful in this role, candidates must have the following:
- Advanced degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or related field
- Fully CIMA or ACCA qualified.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a finance function.
- Strong commercial and business awareness
- The capacity to make quick but rational decisions
- The potential to lead and motivate others.
