A rare opportunity to join a Global business, working for one of their most recognisable and successful brands. As a Key Account Manager you will be managing premium travel retailers such as Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and John Lewis.

Client Details

My client are a Global company, with many successful beauty brands to note. This particular role is looking after a very successful brand, well loved and certainly a market leader. The role will be Central London based, covering London and the South East.


The key responsibilities are:
  • Responsible and accountable for the performance of the UK Premium Retail and Travel Partner business - in line with Revenue growth targets in partnership with the UK Head of Commercial Finance.
  • Develop close working relationships at all levels in each Key Account through a consultative business to business approach
  • Maximise sales opportunities and be aware of in-store activities and promotions, category sales and commercial and operational targets.
  • Identify business opportunities to increase brand visibility and presence and in turn drive sales
  • Support in defining budgets, targets and strategy for Premium Retail according to annual targets, market trends, launches/promotions & competitors' activities
  • Arrange monthly meetings to present promotional activity and identify areas for business growth
  • Negotiate the successful execution of the sales, marketing and educational plan within each account
  • Collate consistent and accurate data and statistics working with the Commercial Finance Analyst and the wider teams internally and externally across all our locations to ensure an efficient process
  • Produce meaningful and accurate reports, analysis of KPIs from sales data
  • Prepare reports, presentations, management information and correspondence on a regular basis
  • Report on all relevant competitor sales and marketing activity
  • Negotiate prime positioning and activity in all targeted accounts
  • To uphold the high standards of integrity for both the brand and the company in all areas of operation of the sales function
  • Attend Monthly UK Management meetings - presenting Premium Retail partner performance and collaborating on strategic development on the UK business
  • Achieve all targets as set and agreed in consultation with the UK MD and Head of Key Accounts


The successful candidate will have:
  • Proven track record within retail and/or travel management gained with a luxury brand
  • Proven account management experience specifically negotiating with senior stakeholders within key/national accounts
  • Must be enthusiastic, resilient, tenacious and persuasive with excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • The ability to be a brand advocate and encourage such advocacy in targeted retail Demonstrates drive, energy and resilience to work in an agile trading environment
  • Experience of influencing and negotiating with teams at all levels
  • Be sales driven and commercially aware of the beauty/ fashion market and trends
  • Must be organised, self-motivated and extremely well presented
  • Demonstrates good networking skills (internally and externally) and actively seeks to use contacts to further their own input, impact and influence
  • Essential to have a high level of computer literacy and be proficient with all MS applications
  • Advanced level Excel knowledge
  • Highly numerate and with strong analytical skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • Experience of building reports, managing and interpreting data and providing analysis and commentary to draw out key issues and themes
  • Data driven with a keen focus on forecasting
  • Should have the ability to travel and work at other sites as required
  • Be willing and able to undertake regular national travel
  • Full driving licence

Job Offer

Attractive base salary of up to £45,000

Car allowance £6,000
