National Account Manager- Toys

Optional remote working for the right candidate.


CSG are working with a household name within the Toy industry on a maternity contract, the duration of which is initially expected to be 8 months. The successful individual will be managing key clients within the grocery channel and working in partnership with these key clients in creating business plans and offering recommendations and solutions.

The Opportunity

The Role

  • Day to Day management of their Grocery clients such as Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and B&M.
  • Working closely with the Sales Manager and the marketing department in setting customer targets.
  • Liaising and negotiating with buyers to agree on supply contracts and sales forecasting.
  • Setting terms of trade for each account.
  • Conducting negotiations on promotions, prices and product quantities.
  • Negotiating any special requirements for distribution.
  • Keeping up to date and reporting on market intelligence, for own accounts and competitors.
  • Following up at store level on implementation.
  • Develop relationships with other stakeholders in the buying process.

The Candidate

 

 

 

  • My client will be looking for the successful candidate to have experience in general merchandising. Currently working within the Toy industry is not essential, they are happy to give details on the market and information relating to specific accounts to the appointed individual.
  • Due to the fact the opportunity is expected to be 8 months initially my client is looking for a safe pair of hands who knows how to run their client base autonomously and for someone to be confident when making business decisions.
  • The successful candidate needs to be able to collaborate and build relationships quickly and effectively both with external people and internal people.
  • Will have the confidence to bring ideas forward.
