The Business
What should I tell you? This business has been around the block and is traditional in its way of working. The products are far from traditional, however. It’s not your everyday Yorkshire Tea (not that I have a bad thing to say about Yorkshires (I love it)), but the products definitely wakes up the taste buds.

Your New Role
You’ll be responsible for working closely with the commercial team to create accurate demand forecasts across their entire customer market.
The majority of the role will be focused on Demand Planning. However, you will also be working closely with the commercial team to update forecasts based on promotions, seasonal changes and NPD launches, as well as building new demand templates for the Global markets

About You

The role will consist of some of the below, but of course there’s more to it but I didn’t want to list every bullet point from the advert because where’s the fun in that and who has time to read 36 bullet points on their commute home?:
  • Demand planning experience in the FMCG industry (food & drink is a bonus).
  • Doesn’t shy away from creating forecasts on Excel.
  • ERP systems is a bonus (SAP, Oracle, Navision etc).
  • Enjoys analysing data and reporting to various stakeholders.

What Success Looks
Your forecasting accuracy will be more accurate than Paul The Octopus, who famously predicted a string of World Cup results through his tank (RIP Paul). You’ll save the business loads of money through this and will be a solid team player!
