We supply goods and services to independently-owned convenience stores across the UK and Republic of Ireland as well as to our company-owned estate. These stores trade under a number of brands including Costcutter, Simply Fresh and Mace.
Due to our exciting new ventures, supply partnership, future growth plans and our compelling offering for independent retailers we are looking to add New Business and Acquisition Managers and to our team.
Our team of New Business Development Managers, Business Development Managers, Heads of Business Development and National Accounts Managers work closely to align efforts and ensure our retailers are given the very best service, maximising their sales and margins through our support.
You must be proven in new store recruitment from introduction to conversion, have strong food or grocery retail experience and have an excellent understanding of what convenience retailers need from their supply partners.

New Business Development Managers - role details;
Mapping out potential new retailers to join the Costcutter group you will take a targeted approach to planning, driving and coordinating your portfolio of new store recruitment activity across the region.
Working towards your personal territory target you should be a born networker and relationship developer that can fact find to discover retailer requirements, assess how Costcutter can fulfil & exceed these expectations (and be comfortable in being honest where we can’t!), introduce our compelling offering, demonstrate the value and positive impact we are able to add to an independent retailer and nurture the relationship in order to bring the new retailer into our group.
In collaboration with the Business Development Managers and our Estates team you will actively work with Regional and National commercial property agents to establish new premises for our existing retailers that are looking for expansion opportunities.
This is a fast paced role that requires outstanding time and organisational skills as well as someone with the ability to solve problems and apply judgement on a daily basis.
