Job Details

I am partnered with a distributor of dairy products, renowned for their market leading brands across both Europe and the World. Globally they employ over 5000 people, but within the UK they are a family-feel intimate team of 25. The business aim is to provide premium products to their customers, such as Top Grocery retailers, Convenience stores and Wholesalers.

You will be responsible for looking after two of their main categories, both placed within the impulse category. You will report directly into your National Account Controller, where on a day-to-day basis you will be supported by him as well as a close team of four.

From day one you will be expected to hit the ground running and manage three of their major retailers – Coop, Waitrose and Morrison’s. Alongside this you will work very closely with internal teams and have a hands-on approach with projects such as NPD and sustainability.

You need to be an incredibly strong relationship builder to ultimately grow sales, expand the market share and drive distribution forward. You will be taking full responsibility for your portfolio and be the lead on negotiating and implementing JBP’s.

You will be based from home and out with your customers majority of time, but you will be required in their Central London office two days a week.

The team you will be joining are incredibly sociable. They have many events planned throughout the calendar year but on top of this your direct sales team socialise after work on a weekly basis.

In order to succeed in this role, you will be willing to take on the task of working within what can be a challenging category. You will benefit from gaining exposure into how a traditional FMCG business operates as well as working alongside a team with a wealth of experience from both blue-chip and SME’s.

The progression opportunities within the company are endless as they promote internally where possible and allow their individuals to move both vertically but also cross functionally.

If you would like to hear more about the opportunity, please send your CV to Fiona Prescott on the email provided below, or call 0207 871 8000. Alternatively you can apply via the link.
