Job Details

A Customer Business Manager opportunity has arisen in the UK for our branded Baby Care portfolio in one of our major customers. This role is an outstanding opportunity for individuals looking to progress their career within Customer Management, taking on the responsibility of managing the Huggies wipes and childcare portfolio.

This fantastic role offers full P&L responsibility and requires strong relationship management externally as well as cross-functional working across K-C functions.

Responsibilities:

  • To create and manage an annual Joint Business Plan with the customer, in order to achieve brand and category business goals, including sales, profit and market share objectives
  • To manage all elements of the P&L against clear targets and in line with K-C’s compliance regulations
  • To pro-actively develop a winning customer relationship with individuals across the customer's commercial buying team
  • To efficiently execute our JBP through Head Office negotiation
  • To plan, forecast and evaluate promotions in order to determine and execute the optimum plan for K-C and the customer, making interventions to close performance gaps where required
  • To partner with Category Management and Brand Activation teams in order to deliver insight based recommendations and customer specific initiatives to support the delivery of our objectives
  • To partner with K-C Planning, Logistics and Customer Service in order to execute our Business Plan efficiently and effectively
  • To engage business functions at the customer, including Supply Chain, Store Operations and dot com to understand the retailer operations and effectively implement plans to achieve our objectives
  • To engage with K-C’s internal monthly planning cycle to enable clarity on customer performance as part of the overall UK objectives

Experience Required:

  • Sufficient NAM experience within FMCG managing Grocery Customers
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a Head Office relationship, including Joint Business Planning process, and experienced in negotiation
  • Be able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness, including P+L management
  • Have experience in utilising category, shopper and consumer data sources
  • Highly numerate
  • Strong communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal / collaborative skills
  • Comfortable working in a high pressured environment
  • Experience of persuasively presenting strategic recommendations
  • Ability to influence behaviours cross-functionally and at all business levels

  • Negotiable basic salary depending on experience
