Beer helped start human civilization.

It's true. Chemical evidence of barley-based beer goes back as far as 3500 BC.

Apparently, we settled down around that time to grow grains, and we used those grains to make beer.

That’s 3,500 years before a well-known religious figure was born.

That means beer’s seen 5519 years of supply and demand.

Here's a chance for you to conquer part of this ancient market, as the Key Account Manager for Salcombe Brewery as they expand their empire into London.

You'll be a critical part of helping them grow, targeting multiple retail groups, wholesalers and large independents.

As the Key Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering volume and profit in this new-business focused role. You'll be instrumental in scaling this growing business to new heights - as they take their product to the big smoke.

You’ll do this by setting up additional supply channels in the capital. The business is strong, profitable and well established with listings including Ei group.
You’ll be representing the brand at industry events and trade shows, which in turn, enhances your profile, as well as your network. It’s an opportunity to make a name for yourself.

You know sales in the drinks industry, so should expect some evening working. You'll also visit our beautiful brewery down in Devon with prospect customers from time to time.

As a key part of the team, you’ll provide the constructive feedback Salcombe Brewery needs to continue to make tasty, refreshing and ethical beer.

Ethical?

That’s right. Salcombe Brewery has strong eco values and genuine community spirit - sponsoring everything from yacht races to the conservation of the spiny and short snouted seahorse, native to the gorgeous coastline.

Be assured, you'll be joining a dedicated employer. Dedicated not only to the quality of their delicious product (the brewery is Salsa accredited), but also to their integrity and strong values. These guys walk the walk.

But what else is in it for you?

You'll receive a very strong base salary, reflective of the fact you have already been in drinks sales for a minimum of 24 months. You’ll get a company car (fully maintained, of course) or a trade out car allowance. You also get an Oyster card for travel around London. As well as that, you'll get a company pension and included in the bonus scheme.

Finally, the next step for this role is to bring someone in to work under you in the future, when, depends on your success. It could be a great stepping stone to you managing a team.

So, if you're the right person to take this brewery to new places, call 07896 892784 or
