Exciting Opportunity to join a rapidly growing business who are looking for a Telesales Manager to drive sales and build a sales team around them.

Client Details

My client is a UK manufacturer and distributor who provide a range of solutions. They are constantly improving the current product portfolio and developing innovative , trusted solutions for service departments. Due to continuous growth they are now opening a new office based in Milton Keynes and are looking for a sales manager to oversee a team of sales executives but also drive new business.


Telesales Manager Responsibilities
  • Coach and mentor the Internal Sales Executives
  • Complete annual appraisals with the Sales Team
  • Define specific and stretch goals with the sales team to maintain focus and drive results against plan
  • Actively engage new customers to drive growth of the portfolio (Both NHS and Private at National/Trust Level)
  • Achievement of sales targets
  • Oversee Sampling program and work with Customer Service and Operations management to ensure consistent supply of relevant samples and materials
  • Work with Marketing Executive to deliver specific and targeted campaigns to support growth plans
  • Work with Product Management to identify new product growth areas and feedback on current range to ensure future product development is inline with the market feedback
  • Collect market feedback on pricing and other market factors where possible
  • Accurate and consistent use of the CRM system to track leads/opportunities through from inception to close and post-sale follow up - Monitor use of CRM by the Sales Team
  • Plan diary effectively to manage relationships with existing customers whilst focusing on growth plans
  • To regularly review sales performance and ensure realignment with monthly and annual targets.
  • To monitor competitor activity and competitor's products and to maintain knowledge of new developments in the National Health Service (NHS), anticipating potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapting focus accordingly


Telesales Manager
  • Management experience including coaching of staff
  • Confident phone manner
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills
  • Previous sales experience (ideally in an outbound sales environment)
  • Results orientated
  • Able to prioritise and plan effectively
  • Attention to detail and accurate
  • Ability to use various computer software including MS Office related programs
