Our Company

Produce Investments Ltd is a leading operator in the fresh potato and daffodil sectors and parent company of well-known businesses Greenvale, The Jersey Royal Company and Rowe Farming. We have operations throughout the UK in seed production, growing and packing and serve a number of market sectors including retail, food service, wholesale and trading. We are now looking for an experienced Senior Category Insight Manager to join our team on a part-time and flexible basis to support the business to reach its objectives. 

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Marketing Director,  the role will analyse and present market and consumer data to identify opportunities to drive growth for Produce Investments’ companies and its customers. The role will work closely with the commercial team to create and implement category strategies, building strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally and drive category growth. The chosen candidate will also introduce new insights tools and techniques to the business and our customers, ensuring that we maintain our reputation for excellence in category management within the sector.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role candidates will need a minimum of 7 years’ FMCG Category Management experience working on Top 6 Retail accounts with proven experience of analysing and interpreting data and presenting conclusions and recommendations to deliver category growth. The successful candidate must be comfortable dealing with retail contacts in all forums and at all levels and have evidence of delivering insight to influence senior managers and customers. As expected, candidates will be highly proficient at extracting and interpreting data from ACNielsen, i2C, KWP and others as well as using Microsoft Office to present data effectively. Given the part-time nature of the role, candidates must be a good organisers, capable of working remotely and with a high degree of autonomy.  The location for this role is flexible and can be home based or based at our offices in Peterborough.  Candidates will be expected to travel between company sites and customers throughout the UK.
