To facilitate efficient, effective and incisive data analysis within the Marketing Department. Extrapolate and analyse data marketing trends using bespoke system and report on findings. Produce and interpret complex statistical information on customer interactions and buying history to assist in shaping future Marketing campaigns.

Description

As follows:-
  • Focal point for data analysis and reporting within the Marketing Department
  • Analyse and interpret large sets of complex data to using statistical techniques to discover trends and patterns and report back to Marketing Team to assist them to make key decisions on Marketing plans
  • Running and daily, weekly and monthly scheduled reports including: product analysis, category analysis, mailing analysis, company sales analysis on buying histories and trends
  • Interrogation of databases and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Assist with the maintenance and development of customer segmentation model
  • Assist with development of mailing plans in line with report findings
  • Provide recommendations to senior team based on findings from data analysis
  • Liaise with Product team to assist with any product reporting or analysis requirements
  • Assist Marketing Support Assistant during periods of absence
  • Inbound sales calls during peak time
  • Any other reasonable request as required by the company or management


Profile

Applicants should meet the following criteria:-
  • Reasonable achievement at SQA level 4/5 or equivalent
  • Degree level qualification in Data Analysis or equivalent is desirable
  • Excel related qualification would be an advantage
  • Highly competent use of MS Excel with experience with functions such as SUMIF, PivotTable, Vlookup/Hlookup
  • Knowledge and use of Jet Analytics or similar analysis package would be an advantage
  • Competent in use of all other MS Office applications (Word, Outlook and Powerpoint)
  • Knowledge and use of ERP systems
  • Understanding of CRM database within a B2C Marketing environment would be an advantage
  • Experience within the commercial function of a Marketing or Product department in a statistical or analytical capacity would be desirable but not essential
  • Highly accurate and competent with figures and calculations
  • Ability to analyse information and provide recommendations
  • Sound knowledge of commercial product and pricing terminology (Margin, costs, Turnover)
  • Ability to produce information to varying degrees of detail dependent on situation - ie ability to provide top line summary as well as detailed analysis and information
  • Ability to manage demands from different areas of the business, from people of all levels
  • Willing and keen to learn

  • An interest OR even passion for food is desirable
