Senior National Account Manager progressing to Account Controller

Our client is known globally & in the UK as a premium FMCG brand, established in the category due to its heritage & passion for quality. With a relatively small close-knit team in the UK (turnover c£80 million), they care passionately about bringing the best quality product to consumers across the world. In double digit YoY growth and still retaining their independent edge by being privately owned, they also have a category leading brand present across 50 countries+ today.

Due to their continued growth our client now requires an office based Senior National Account Manager (progressing to Controller) to deliver impressive results within the Grocery Sales channel.

As Senior National Account Manager you will co-develop and lead the execution of the Retail Grocery Mults strategy, executing the agreed tactics that maximise value sales, volume growth and profit for the UK business with the Grocery Multiples. This role represents an exciting opportunity to join the UK&I Management Team in a high-profile role highlighted as a key strategic ‘Must Win’ Channel for the business.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the operating plan, working alongside the UK Management Team to determine and execute the five-year strategy for the UK business. This role involves working with associates from across the business, most notably, Category, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain teams.

We are looking for a resilient, commercially astute ambitious individual with extensive commercial experience, with the ability to influence at a Senior Level and to deliver a challenging Business Plan.

The successful Senior National Account Manager candidate in this role will:

  • Currently be a NAM/SNAM/Controller ready for a fresh challenge with a great brand and entrepreneurial culture
  • Have a proven success of building outstanding partnerships within the Grocery sales channel
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work in high pressure environment
  • Have great Shopper & Category marketing knowledge & experience
