Are you an aspiring FMCG Commercial Manager/ National Account Manager?  Are you looking for a new opportunity within an SME who will allow you to make real impact, grow your commercial ability and be a part of an inspiring story and journey who also happen to have very tasty, healthy and innovative products?  If you’re operating in a sales support role or National Account Executive capacity then this could be just up your street!

Based in central London, this FMCG ‘foodie’ Brand and innovative company are looking to appoint a Commercial Executive to support the Senior Commercial Manager on the largest Top 4 Grocery retailer as well as taking your own responsibility for customers with the RTM channel. 

These guys are a young Brand who are fresh thinking, innovative and pacey.  Their existing team match the brand and have a young, ambitious and social team who all have an entrepreneurial approach, love the healthy snacking category and want to make a difference!  Growing at a rate of knots, they’re looking for an individual who is inspired by their culture, way of operating and who is looking to get their teeth stuck into a new challenge in 2019 as they continue to develop their product portfolio!

This role will see your time split 50/50 in Grocery retail vs RTM.  Responsibilities of the Commercial Executive include:

  • Gaining new customers within your strategic RTM channel
  • Growing existing business with innovation and driving ROS
  • Building and maintaining a strong network of customer relationships
  • Working with the field sales execs to deliver store level activation
  • Supporting the on-going management of the JBPs
  • Supporting the on-going financial forecasts and customer/ trend analysis
  • EPOS data analysis
  • Project management of customer specific innovation and pack formats

Candidates for the position don’t have to hold multiple years of experience, it’s more about the person, and ultimately understanding of the FMCG world having worked within this space in either Sales or Buying.  You must have at least 12 months customer facing experience in FMCG and able to demonstrate commercial acumen.
