The Role

We are looking for a Senior National Account Manager to join our team and develop and manage some of the biggest names in grocery within the UK. Working with senior buyers, you will be responsible for implementing, and executing strategic account plans with some of their most highly valued client assets. Experience of any of the Top 4 Grocers and/or Coop, Boots, Nisa or MCColl’s would be advantageous. You will be working from home approximately 3 days a week and spending 1 to 2 days at head office in London, as well as visiting your clients around the UK. This is a very autonomous role that requires someone with the gravitas and business acumen to take ownership and responsibility for your accounts providing regular analysis and data to key stakeholders.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a very strong FMCG background working with large UK grocery stores, convenience and health and beauty retailers would be an advantage. You will be able to demonstrate at least 5 years of managing National Accounts within FMCG.  You will be comfortable reporting at all levels of senior management.  Entrepreneurial qualities are extremely important. The ability to be a forward thinker and to use initiative will be very beneficial as the company is evolving at a staggering rate and you will be tasked with adapting with them by implementing your own ideas and strategies.
